In news that is bound to make you shake your head, Lindsay Lohan was allegedly assaulted by some dude she met at NYC nightclub 1 Oak this weekend.
The mess formerly known as Lindsay met Christian LaBella at the club and later invited him back to her room at the W Hotel, along with a few of her friends. Yes, she invited a stranger back to her hotel room.
At some point early Sunday morning Lohan became upset when she noticed Labella taking photos of her with his phone and then proceeded to confiscate the phone in order to delete them. That was when Labella allegedly threw Lindsay onto her bed causing her hands to get scratched up.
Lohan then ran out of her room, but was confronted once more by Christian who tried to choke her and climbed on top of her. One of Lindsay’s friends was able to intervene and grabbed the would-be attacker off her. Lindsay then pulled the fire alarm and called police who were able to get there in time to nab and arrest Labella, who was charged with assault and harassment.
Lindsay is said to have fully cooperated with the investigation. In the end, however, there was not enough evidence to give much credence to Lohan’s assault claims and Labella was released. The police reportedly did not fully believe in Lindsay’s story. Shocker.
“She’s very shaken up,” Lohan’s enabler mother, Dina, told the Daily News Sunday afternoon; “Thank God he didn’t have a weapon.”
After his release Labella also filed harassment charges against Lohan.
